This person is expected to possess:
Leadership and Experience
A passion for camp ministry , a love for people and the outdoors, and a desire to bring children, youth, and families into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
Demonstrated leadership experience (preferably 3-5+ years) in a non-profit, camp, or similar operational environment, including experience in personnel management .
Experience in ministry, with children, youth, and families is an asset.
Skills and Character
A creative problem solver with a keen eye for developing people and enhancing operational efficiency.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills . They are expected to communicate appropriately and on time, and lead with grace and humility.
The ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic leadership team, always showing honor and respect to coworkers and supporting the staff team.
A willingness to be open to continued training and development opportunities .
Proficiency with standard office software and a willingness to learn camp-specific systems.
Core Requirements
Must be 18 years or older and a high school graduate; post-secondary education is an asset.
Must hold (or be willing to acquire) a current Standard First Aid Certification .
Must submit a clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search , and a Child Intervention Record Check .
Must agree with, support, and pursue the camp’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
