OVERVIEWThe Marketing Manager owns the planning, execution, and performance of marketing initiatives across releases, touring, merch, and brand moments. This role translates strategy into audience growth and revenue outcomes by building clear plans, driving timelines, and ensuring strong execution across internal teams and external partners.
This role is best suited for someone who is highly organized, performance-minded, and comfortable balancing creative marketing with operational follow-through. You can lead campaigns end-to-end, communicate clearly with artists and partners, and keep multiple work streams moving without things falling through the cracks. You’ll also build and lead a flexible team of social media seeders, ensuring efforts are coordinated, accountable, and aligned with campaign goals.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Planning & Project Management
- Own end-to-end marketing execution across releases, tours, merch, and brand initiatives
- Build campaign plans, timelines, and task lists; manage approvals and deliverables
- Align management, creative, social, streaming, and external partners
- Flag risks early and adjust plans to keep campaigns on track
Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Plan and execute digital campaigns across Meta, Tik Tok, You Tube, and other platforms
- Manage paid advertising: targeting, budgets, testing, optimization, and reporting
- Drive audience growth through structured testing and iteration
- Document learnings and performance insights by campaign
Influencer, Seeding & Community Team Leadership
- Build and lead a distributed social seeding and community support team
- Establish workflows, guidelines, and accountability for seeding efforts
- Coordinate creator- and fan-led initiatives aligned with campaign goals
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track campaign performance using defined KPIs
- Translate data into insights and recommendations
- Share reporting with artists, managers, and internal teams
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma preferred
- 3-6 years of experience in music marketing, digital marketing, or campaign management
- Experience leading or coordinating teams, contractors, or external partners
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and audience growth strategies
- Hands-on experience running paid campaigns and evaluating performance
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Comfortable working directly with artists and their teams
- Proficient with Google Workspace; experience with Notion and reporting tools is a strong asset
- Willingness to work flexible hours around releases and touring moments
- Genuine passion for music; familiarity with electronic or dance music is a plus
