Role Purpose
The Marketing Manager contributes to the development of product vision and strategy, with a focus on driving portfolio growth through increased customer acquisition and enhanced value from existing users. Acting as the subject‑matter expert for all marketing‑related initiatives, this role oversees offer strategy, channel planning, segmentation, and end‑to‑end campaign execution. Operating within an agile, team‑based environment, the Marketing Manager identifies, evaluates, recommends, and implements marketing initiatives that improve revenue, profitability, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Support and manage marketing strategies, tactics, campaigns, and services that promote consumer‑facing digital products across multiple channels (e.g., online advertising, SEO/SEM, social media, owned digital assets, CRM, experiential marketing, promotions, public relations).
- Partner with analytics teams to develop or refine segmented customer strategies aimed at acquiring new users or increasing value from existing ones.
- Lead campaigns from planning and concept development through execution, optimization, and post‑campaign analysis, ensuring alignment with product and business priorities.
- Execute campaigns using internal promotional and customer engagement systems to meet defined objectives.
- Assist in preparing forecasts and marketing budgets, including monitoring spend against plan.
- Oversee creative development through internal or external partners, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with strategic goals.
- Track key performance indicators, assess market trends, and recommend adjustments to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Work closely with cross‑functional digital teams to align on marketing goals, share insights, and leverage collective expertise.
- Collaborate with content and communications teams on agency briefs and creative development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across legal, compliance, customer support, finance, and technology to ensure campaign alignment and readiness.
- Manage relationships with a variety of external vendors, including creative agencies, media partners, promotional suppliers, and experiential partners.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies, tactics, and channel opportunities relevant to digital consumer products.
- Awareness of industry trends, customer needs, and market challenges to inform strategy.
- Comfort working with technology and digital tools to support promotional innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (3–5 years).
- Experience working within agile environments; exposure to Product Owner responsibilities is an asset.
- Hands‑on experience with digital marketing across direct‑to‑consumer channels (media, email, CRM, owned digital assets, social platforms).
- Minimum of three years of marketing experience focused on growth and customer engagement.
- Strong communication abilities, capable of simplifying complex concepts and presenting compelling narratives.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines, including technology, product development, design, merchandising, advertising, PR, and research.

This is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $68.00/hr.
