How To SaaS is a management consulting firm focused on helping SaaS companies thrive through marketing and demand generation. We’re looking for a Director of Content to join our internal marketing team and help take our thought leadership work to the next level.
If you have experience writing and promoting content, thrive on working on multiple projects at once and want to be an active contributor in a small team, we’d love to hear from you.

Our team is based around Toronto and loves getting together whenever possible, so we would prefer that candidates live in or near the GTA.
What you’ll be doing :Supporting the creation and promotion of our podcast, Private Equity Value Creation. This includes:
- Developing a promotion strategy that grows the podcast audience using organic and paid channels
- Creating assets to support the publication and promotion of episodes
- Posting about episodes on company social media accounts
- Collaborating with guests to support their promotional efforts
- Communicating with publications to increase visibility of the podcast
- Managing the publication calendar
- Tracking performance and suggesting ways to optimize promotion
Building How To SaaS’s social media presence across multiple platforms. This includes:
- Developing a social media strategy and roadmap
- Creating content to post
- Scheduling posts
- Responding to comments
- Tracking performance and suggesting ways to optimize promotion
Scaling our thought leadership content. This includes:
- Developing a thought leadership content strategy and roadmap
- Building a plan to increase visibility of our content through SEO and GEO
- Generating creative content ideas targeted for How To SaaS’s audience
- Writing and editing high-quality content at speed
- Distributing and promoting content across multiple channels, including paid media
- Tracking performance and adapting the strategy to increase visibility and engagement
Supporting the marketing department with additional tasks as needed.
Who you need to be:You’ve produced a variety of content for businesses, preferably B2B. This will likely include blog posts, landing pages, emails, one-pagers and whitepapers.
You’ve helped to grow the audience of a podcast or You Tube channel
. You have experience building and executing a promotional strategy, and coordinating with guests.
You’ve worked on a business social media account
. You have experience planning out a posting strategy, writing and scheduling posts, engaging with the audience and creating graphics to post.
You know your way around commonly-used platforms
, such as:
- Social media platforms including Linked In, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Website platforms like Kajabi or Wordpress
- Google Analytics
- CRM software like Hubspot or Marketo
- Social media scheduling tools like Hootsuite or Meet Edgar
You’re able to manage your time independently and can juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
You’re data-oriented and can report on relevant metrics such as CTR, traffic sources and conversion rates.
You are highly organized and detail-oriented
