Communications Intern
Alamos Gold is seeking an intern to join us in our Toronto Head Office and support the Communications team. We are flexible with placement options including length and start of placement dependent on your program requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Communications Intern will assist and support with:
Research, writing and the development of external communications and marketing productsManaging inventory and organizing of marketing assetsDevelopment of advertising creative and help to coordinate the placement of digital, radio and print advertisements.Alamos Gold’s community development initiatives.Coordination of events and media outreach, as requiredWhat You Bring!
An interest in mining and government/politicsYou are working towards a bachelor's degree or master's degree from an accredited university or college in Political Science, Marketing, Communications or BusinessProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Power Point Experience with social media platforms ( Linked In, X and Facebook)Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design Excellent communications, interpersonal and organizational skillsStrong editing and writing skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to communicate with cross-functional teams.High level of accuracy and attention to detail
