The Role
We’re hiring a Marketing Lead and Generalist to own how Tofu shows up to the Talent Acquisition and Security world.
This role is for someone who lives online, thinks in content and wants to tell the story of the importance of identity fraud in recruiting. You will work directly with the CEO to position Tofu the leader in the space.
You will own brand, demand generation, content and community. When people think of Identity, Security and Fraud in recruiting, they will think of Tofu. This is a hands‑on role that requires creativity, strategy and rapid execution and you will be instrumental in helping us reach $10M in ARR.
Core Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Execution- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Tofu’s growth goals.
- Own and manage all marketing channels, including website, social media, webinar, email, paid advertising, and events.
- Drive lead generation, conversion optimization, and customer retention efforts.
- Track key marketing KPIs and continuously optimize campaigns for performance.
- Create engaging, high‑quality content (blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, webinars, etc.).
- Produce and create incredible video content that tells stories and reaches hundreds of thousands / millions of eyeballs.
- Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and tone across all communication channels.
- Manage graphic design and visual identity to enhance Tofu’s brand presence.
- Manage website content, SEO, and user experience to drive organic traffic and conversions.
- Run paid advertising campaigns across Google, Linked In, and other relevant platforms.
- Optimize email marketing and automation to nurture leads and retain customers.
- Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with company objectives.
- Manage external vendors, agencies, and freelancers as needed.
- Provide reporting and insights to leadership on marketing performance and ROI.
Events & Community Engagement
- Plan and execute Tofu’s presence at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
- Organize webinars and virtual events to showcase thought leadership and drive engagement.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in the security and talent ecosystem.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in high‑growth SaaS or security markets.
- You’ve done this before:
You’ve successfully moved the needle in demand generation, content marketing, and brand positioning. - Expert in Digital:
Strong expertise in SEO, paid ads, social media, and marketing automation (Hub Spot, Google Analytics, Linked In Ads). - Content Machine:
You produce videos that capture attention, tell stories and generate hundreds of thousands / millions of impressions. - Exceptional Storyteller:
You have excellent writing and communication skills; you can take complex AI topics and make them compelling. - Event Savvy:
Experienced in managing the logistics and strategy for webinars and industry conferences. - Thrive in Ambiguity:
You are a self‑starter who can lead without a roadmap and execute in a fast‑paced environment. - Toronto‑based.
