The Opportunity

Mawer Investment Management is seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Specialist to join our team, reporting to the Private Wealth Marketing Manager. In this role, you will play a key role in executing Mawer Investment Management’s marketing strategy. You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive brand awareness, engage audiences and support business objectives.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end multi-channel marketing efforts including campaigns, projects, and content that drive results and elevate brand awareness and engagement for Mawer’s audiences.
• Develop and directly execute various high-quality marketing plans aligned with the brand and our marketing strategy.
• Conduct competitive research to stay ahead of industry trends, identify growth opportunities and address potential challenges.
• Create compelling content such as emails, presentations, website copy, thought leadership, sponsored materials, social media content, etc. and ensure effective distribution through targeted digital and traditional channels.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics, using data insights to refine strategies and maximize ROI.
• Maintain strong internal communication to ensure alignment on marketing objectives, campaign status, and results.
• Cultivate and sustain productive relationships with colleagues, vendors, and other partners to enhance marketing efforts.

Desired Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial marketing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• A university or college degree in marketing, business administration, or advertising.
• Strong knowledge of the financial service sector, ideally in investment management and private wealth.
• Track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and integrated campaigns.
• Strong understanding of content management tools.
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms and best practices.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and ever-changing deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Results-oriented and execution-focused within a fast-paced environment.
• Good at finding a way forward, even without all the information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Suite, and experience across traditional and digital media channels.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to measure marketing effectiveness and drive decision-making.
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and guidelines relevant to marketing in the financial services industry is an asset.
• Proficiency in French verbal and written, is a plus.
