Press Operator – 8 Color Flexographic Press

Location:

Scarborough, ON
Pay: $30 – $37 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: Night Shift – Monday to Friday
Schedule Options:
Flexible – 8-hour or 12-hour shifts available

We are seeking an experienced Press Operator to operate and set up an 8-color flexographic printing press in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for press setup, color registration, print quality control, troubleshooting, and maintaining efficient production runs. The ideal candidate will come from the plastics, flexible packaging, film, or label printing industry and have hands-on experience operating multi-color flexographic presses.

• Perform full setup and operation of 8-color flexographic printing presses
• Prepare presses for production including mounting plates, mixing inks, and adjusting color registration
• Monitor print quality to ensure accurate color, alignment, and consistency
• Troubleshoot printing issues and make adjustments during production runs
• Perform routine press maintenance and cleaning
• Follow production schedules to maintain efficient press operation
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures

• Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses (8 color preferred)
• Experience in plastics, flexible packaging, film printing, or label printing environments
• Experience operating presses such as W&H (Windmöller & Hölscher), Comexi, Uteco, Bobst, Mark Andy, or Nilpeter
• Strong knowledge of press setup, color matching, and print registration
• Ability to troubleshoot press and printing issues
• Ability to work independently on night shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
