About the Role
We’re looking for an intern to assist our electrical wire person in assembling and wiring power and control panels. This is a hands‑on opportunity to gain practical experience in an industrial electrical environment. You’ll work closely with experienced technicians and engineers, learning how electrical panels are built, tested, and prepared for installation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with panel wiring, layout, and component assembly under supervision
- Help organize tools, materials, and workstations
- Support continuity and insulation resistance testing
- Read and interpret basic electrical drawings or schematics
- Follow safety and quality standards at all times
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed an electrical engineering or technician program
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and tools
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Must be eligible to work in Ontario
- Hands‑on training in electrical panel manufacturing and wiring practices
- Exposure to real‑world industrial automation and power systems
- Mentorship from skilled electricians and engineers
Flexible, typically 20–40 hours per week (depending on school requirements).
