Our client is looking for a solid Team lead to join their growing production facility in Guelph.
In this role, you will be helping to oversee the production employees, while also working partially on shipping/receiving and stepping in to lend a helping hand as needed. Essentially working to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the production area, ensuring quality standards and production schedules are consistently achieved.

- Plan and coordinate daily production activities with the Production Scheduler
- Set priorities to maximize efficiency and meet productivity targets
- Lead, coach, and develop production team members
- Ensure compliance with safety (OHSA/ESA), quality, environmental, and company procedures
- Support ISO 9001:2015 quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives
- Approve time and attendance, review shift performance, and help to monitor KPI’s and performance improvement initiatives
- Maintain 5S standards and Lean practices
- Assist with shipping/receiving, inventory cycle counts, and tool changes
- Support maintenance and other operational needs as required
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Solid knowledge of OHSA and ESA requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience
- Lift Truck Certification (internal or external) and First Aid Certification required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing an asset
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout, workplace inspections, and incident investigations
