Millwright / Maintenance Mechanic Day Shift Toronto (North York)
$40 $ 45/hour + Benefits | Full-Time Permanent | Monday Friday Days

Company: Rockstar Recruiting Hiring for a Leading Plastics Manufacturer
We are currently seeking two Maintenance Mechanics to join a growing plastics manufacturing facility in North York. This is a full-time, permanent, day shift opportunity with an established company that runs a wide variety of machinery, including extruders, bag machines, and other plastics production equipment.
We are hiring for two positions:
Lead Maintenance Mechanic / MillwrightJunior or Apprentice Maintenance MechanicAbout the Role
You will be part of a skilled maintenance team responsible for keeping all production equipment operating safely and efficiently. This role requires a well-rounded technician who can troubleshoot and repair issues across multiple trades, including:
Mechanical repairs (bearings, chains, gears, hydraulics, pneumatics, alignment)Electrical troubleshooting (motors, sensors, switches, controls low voltage)Welding & fabrication as neededPreventative maintenance on production lines and facility equipmentSupporting installation, setup, and optimization of machineryThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants a stable long-term role with growth potential.
What Were Looking For
Licensed A Industrial Millwright is a strong asset but not requiredOpen to unlicensed Millwrights, Maintenance Mechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or Apprentices with robust hands-on experienceExperience with plastics manufacturing equipment, extruders, bag machines, thermoforming, or similar machinery is an asset but not requiredStrong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamReliable, professional, and committed to quality workmanship and safetyCompensation
$40 $ 45/hour
