CompensationThe hourly pay range for this position is $22.50 – $36.20.
Job TitleAssistant QA Inspector (Co‑op)
Key Responsibilities- Approve finished products for shipment involving visual verification, mechanical inspection, and electrical testing
- Calibrate mechanical and electrical instrument measuring equipment
- Participate, when necessary, in troubleshooting and problem‑solving
- Read and interpret part and assembly drawings
- Collaborate with assemblers and production personnel on quality inspections
- Record and maintain inspection and calibration records
- Collect and summarize quality reports monthly
- Pursuing a degree/diploma in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering or Quality Assurance
- Available and eligible to work a 4‑month co‑op work term for the Summer 2026 term
- A team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Keen interest in design and manufacturing
- Some manufacturing experience is an asset
Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day‑to‑day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20 lbs.
Work EnvironmentAcceptable working environment with minor or almost no disagreeable or challenging working conditions as part of everyday expected levels (all jobs will occasionally experience undesirable or disagreeable events).
