In this position, the Technician is responsible for various jobs within the Load Cell Assembly Department, such as temperature compensation, cable manufacturing and assembly/soldering of cables for Strain Gage Products and sand blasting when required.

• Compensating of various load cell configurations using information provided in the appropriate manufacturing procedure, wiring diagrams if required, and procedures, and recording of completed work using prescribed forms as required.
• Cleaning of load cell as part of the load cell assembly section, as per procedures.
• Take electrical measurements and record the data and recording of work completed.
• Manufacturing of load cell final cable(s) for specific jobs, using appropriate manufacturing procedures.
• Sandblasting of load cells when and if needed.
• Other duties appropriate in the Load Cell Assembly department and as required.

• Good manual dexterity with an aptitude for equipment and technical manuals.
• Experience working with electronics.
• Able to work from diagrams, drawings and written procedures.
• Good hand soldering skills.
• Attention to details while adhering to schedules.
• Able to take initiative plus work as part of a team.
• Lifting loads of up to 50 lbs.
