* BA/BS Degree preferably in life sciences, or alternatively a business degree. Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, etc.) highly preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years in the pharma / biotech sector, with a successful commercial track record.
* Extensive sales/marketing experience, including business unit responsibility, particularly in the specialty care sector.
* At least 5 years of people management in a matrix environment.
* Excellent knowledge of the Canadian healthcare sector with a strong professional network.
* Proven experience in building successful teams.
* Strong financial acumen and prior P&L responsibility.
* Previous experience in specialty care including monoclonal antibodies or biologics is highly desirable.
* Focused on solutions for patients and HCP customers.
* Demonstrates strategic agility and the ability to create and articulate an inspiring vision.
* Sees the “big picture”; reads emerging trends and patterns very effectively from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with the organization's overall strategy.
