Job Description:As the Senior Consultant, People
Change Management, you will play a key role in successfully managing and sustaining transformational changes within Canadian Banking. You will own the People
Change Management deliverables for key projects, and ensure objectives are met on time, on budget, and with increased employee adoption. You will also work with Leadership to increase adoption of the new way of working by driving higher utilization and proficiency to ensure a positive employee and client experience and accelerate benefit realization.
How You'll SucceedRelationship Management - You build strong relationships internally and externally. You understand views of various stakeholders and facilitate problem solving to find the best solutions for our clients, employees, and shareholders.Consulting - You are not only advocating for the business but also for 'our clients'. You influence and impact decisions in support of business objectives. In doing so, you will validate current processes and propose alternative options for achieving organizational goals.People Change Management - You are a seasoned expert with leading and planning key initiatives and projects with a focus on positive people impacts. You can work with minimal direction using deep knowledge of People Change Management practices to determine objectives, build and deliver on a holistic change management plan that illustrates and measures impacts, while providing regular reporting and presenting findings.Summary:The main function of a change manager at this level is to lead large cross-functional projects or programs.
Job Responsibilities:Leads high level (size, scope, complexity, criticality and impact) or cross-functional change projects, or a major change program, or multiple work streams within a large program.Leads production of project charter with business sponsor(s) and stakeholder(s); facilitates shared meaning and commitment to goals.Deploys change tools to drive adoption of new behaviors.Defines change plan milestones and deliverables and manages assignments to completion. Drives project outcomes and ensures achievement of benefits.Develops and facilitates organizational change work including change readiness, input to communication development, input to talent management processes, input to leadership and ownership, learning/training, and change implementation and reinforcement plan.Leads production of success measures for adoption and sustainment.Ensures timely identification and mitigation of risks and issues.Performs quality reviews of projects.Must Have Requirement:Financial Institution experienceProficient with Power Point 5-7 years of people change management experienceDeveloping strategy for people change managementTools and methodologiesExperience working with ADKAR change management modelExperience completing Change Impact assessments/Leadership Engagement Plans/Tactical Plans supporting ADKARExperience completing end to end People Change Management Strategies and implementation of those strategiesPROSCI certificationExperience in presenting in front of senior leadershipSkills:Experience in primary discipline (project management, change management or business analysis) in a consulting environment.Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, facilitation and presentation.)Excellent technical skills (e.g., Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio.)Experience in a large global consumer-oriented business in the retail industry and/or a multi-channel/multi-brand business.Education/
