What You’ll Do

We are hiring talented consultants to our Financial Services Industry (FSI) Business Unit to deliver a myriad of business transformation solutions to our clients. The FSI unit has led and managed projects for top-tier, global clients ranging from strategy and target operating model design to regulatory governance and remediation, technology transformation, program & project management, and business analysis. We have experience delivering these solutions to clients within Sales & Trading, Risk Management, Finance, Treasury, and Operations & Technology functions.

Experience in Capital and/or Liquidity Reporting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Client delivery as part of an on-site or remote project team, able to define the framework and structure of deliverables, and produce complex deliverables
  • Manage the work, activities, and timelines of work for themselves and their team, identify priorities and workflows for stakeholders
  • Coaching teammates in preparing client deliverables using tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Access, MS Project and Visio; design key deliverables and support others
  • Present complex ideas and decisions to team members and client contacts, including middle and top management
  • Perform research and business analysis to solve client challenges and present tailored solutions using quantitative and qualitative data
  • Manage internal team by promoting teamwork and helping consultants improve
  • Demonstrate credibility with client, challenge approaches when needed, and help evolve the client relationship
  • Define project framework and organization, manage one or multiple projects, and ensure follow-up
  • Provide status reporting on progress, dependencies, issues, risks, and program health
  • Lead work streams on complex projects and oversee simple projects
  • Maintain program sites as repositories for project information
Business Expertise Skills
  • Support practice, thought leadership, and people development activities firmwide
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business concepts and key knowledge to master a business domain
  • Cultivate knowledge related to a specific business challenge or sector and function
  • Contribute to development of new solutions in own areas of expertise
  • Lead internal knowledge-share activities and ensure knowledge transfer to other consultants
  • Collaborate with clients’ leadership to improve processes in banking governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, treasury transformation, stress testing, and internal audit
  • Advise clients with strategic recommendations on risk management issues in the financial services sector
  • Help clients understand and quantify risk exposures and build risk models
  • Help build tools to utilize capital and liquidity resources in line with regulatory expectations
  • Focus on risk identification, measurement, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting of exposures
  • Develop a point of view on global trends and their impact on clients
Business Development Skills
  • Write business proposals and presentations autonomously
  • Detect, trace, and qualify business opportunities
  • Relay information about new business activities to managers and leaders
People Management Skills
  • Supervise a project team internally and on client assignments
  • Embed the firm’s values of excellence, entrepreneurship, innovation, teamwork, care and support, and employee wellbeing
