Client Director - Canada
We are seeking a highly dynamic Client Director to lead a team for a specific client assignment, manage overall operations, develop and grow assigned markets, achieve Profit and Loss targets, generate new business opportunities, and oversee business unit operations.

- Develop strategic plans to meet client sales objectives while staying within trade spend guidelines.
- Coordinate and organize category reviews for key categories with key customers; attend key meetings with customers and their teams.
- Build strong customer relationships at mid to senior level of the organization.
- Meet and exceed annual revenue budget by achieving objectives and expanding company services where applicable.
- Work closely with customer teams and administration to keep the client’s proprietary trade planning system accurate and updated.
- Ensure workflow and processes are followed to achieve business objectives and maximize operational efficiency.
- Execute verbal and written business communications in a manner that reflects integrity and meets business objectives.
- Deliver work that meets or exceeds quality, quantity, timeliness, and attendance expectations.
- Adhere to company policies, including the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Comply with applicable laws and perform job safely with proper equipment and safety techniques.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- University degree, college diploma, or equivalent job‑related experience.
- Minimum 5 years progressively responsible experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, either with a manufacturer or sales agency.
- 5 years of managing a P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and client expectations, either personally or through a team.
- Experience managing direct reports.
- Effective presentation, people‑management, and outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of syndicated data.
- Driving Requirements: Driving required on an as‑needed basis.
- Travel Requirements: Travel up to 20%.
- Schedule Requirements: Ability to be flexible and work extended hours when necessary.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
- University degree, college diploma, or equivalent job‑related experience.
- Minimum 5 years progressively responsible experience in the consumer packaged goods industry.
- 5 years of successfully managing a P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and client expectations.
- 5 years of managing direct reports.
- Action oriented, results driven.
- Confidence with clients and internal partners; ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; MEI.
