Project Manager

Rexdale Community Health Centre (RCHC) is a non‑profit, multi‑service, community‑based organization that serves communities in Rexdale and North‑West Etobicoke. Operating out of five locations, RCHC offers core services that include: primary health care, health promotion, community development programs, Diabetes Education Centre and Pathways to Education.

This position analyzes and coordinates the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or service on a per‑project basis. It directs and coordinates the efforts of RCHC’s team of facilities workers and contractors and serves as the client’s point of contact.

• Communicating with clients to define the needs and objectives for a project
• Creating project plans that include details such as objectives, budget, timelines, and personnel
• Identifying, evaluating, and choosing vendors and consultants to satisfy project requirements, including negotiating contracts
• Support building management with machine (copier) update and monthly report
• Oversee building renovation and other construction projects
• Monitor and manage building access and security system uploads
• Delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members
• Consulting with team members to identify and address issues
• Monitoring project costs for budget adherence
• Monitoring project deliverables and milestones to ensure on‑time completion
• Proposing, examining, and approving project plan adjustments
• Generating and disseminating project documentation and reports
• Provide after‑hours support and coverage for facilities‑related issues
• Performing other related duties

• 5 years of work experience in project management, preferably in healthcare
• A degree in project management, business, or a related field
• Project management certification is required
• Computer literacy: able to use MS Office Suite, project management software
• Knowledge of Rexdale CHC populations is considered a strong asset
• Additional community language is considered a strong asset

• Must be available to work 35 hours per week within a flexible daily schedule requiring some evening and weekend work. This is on‑site across multiple RCHC sites.
• Must be able to travel to outreach/mobile sites as needed.

Rate: $51,836 - $62,458 annually (plus benefits)
