Director, Strategic Enablement & Communications

The Director, Strategic Enablement & Communications supports internal communications for a Global Financial organization. This role helps elevate the function’s reputation through strategic storytelling, proactive engagement, and close collaboration with senior leaders to ensure messaging is aligned and key initiatives are effectively supported.

The successful candidate partners closely with leadership to drive clarity, alignment, and engagement across the organization, contributing to enterprise-wide objectives through impactful communications and enablement strategies.

What will you do?

Execute strategic initiatives and communications plans and tactics for key initiatives, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership and aligning tactics with business goals

Enhance Global initiatives through curated strategies supported by tactics aligned to technology and operations strategies

Provide boards, sub-boards, senior executives, and internal partners with strategic storytelling and executive-level updates

Lead and execute key employee forums including Town Halls, All Hands, senior executive off-sites, and other forums as required

Collaborate with internal partners such as corporate communications and cross-functional teams to align with enterprise strategies and initiatives

Support the achievement of broader technology and operations group objectives

Requirements
What do you need to succeed?

15+ years of experience in strategy development and strategic communications, preferably in financial services industry

Demonstrated passion for telling compelling brand and organizational stories through organic communications

Outstanding writing and editing skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders

Ability to creatively problem-solve, manage tight deadlines, and navigate rapidly evolving priorities

Proven ability to operate as a proactive self-starter and collaborative team member who inspires teams and develops talent
