Toronto - Claims Supervisor ~ Commercial Auto, property & general liability. Poised for aggressive growth, there has never been a better time to be part of the Gallagher Bassett Canada team. We have a full-time job opening as a Claims Supervisor. Responsible leading a group of adjusters and administrative support staff.

We manage insurance claims on behalf of insurers, brokers, government bodies and self-insured organizations to ensure we get injured workers back to work and their life. Are you an experienced, talented, results-driven leader looking to mentor a team committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience? In the Claims Supervisor role, you will lead a team of adjusters and administrative and technical support staff.

You will have the opportunity to:

Drive adjuster hiring and development which results in a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Lead a claims team that delivers high quality and efficient service.

Guide, mentor, and develop a team of direct reports through the development of team goals and workload balancing protocols, while encouraging and delivering strong performance. Continuously finding ways to improve teams' efficiency and quality utilizing Gallagher's technology. Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional and proactive manner. Effectively lead multiple priorities, recognize coaching opportunities, and position team members for success.

About

You

Required:

High school diploma and 7 years related claim experience required. CIP or partial completion. Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all provinces in which claims are being handled or able to obtain the licenses/certification per local requirements. Knowledge of all team member related functions. Preferred:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Behaviors:
Requires exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. Ensures flawless and consistent execution of client service instructions and performance guarantees. Ability to actively review work of others via file reviews; identify coaching opportunities, act on needed coaching opportunities and position subordinates for successful development leading to advancement within the organization.
