Figure3 is currently seeking a Senior Team Leader, Workplace.
Reporting to the Director, Workplace you will lead corporate projects of varying scale and complexity. Your ability to implement strategic workplace solutions sets your work apart. As a Senior Team Leader, you will manage the client relationship to understand the project goals to create tailored design solutions. You are comfortable attending on-site construction meetings and, in the office, to collaborate with the team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead large accounts and complex projects from inception to completion
- Coordinate the team to leverage talent and develop innovative and sustainable design solutions
- Communicate directly with clients to coordinate all aspects of projects
- Provide guidance to team members with focus on efficiency and quality of work
- Resolve project challenges as needed to ensure deadlines are met at all phases
- Oversee project coordination meetings and attend site meetings
- Draft and manage project budgets and schedules (in Microsoft Project)
- Administrate complete CM and consultant RFP process when required
- Guide the stipulated bid process when required
- Manage the full contract administration process on assigned projects
- Coordinate activities with external partners, vendors, architects, and engineers
- Develop and deliver presentations for both external client meetings and internal initiatives
- Leverage our strategic research process to achieve project goals
- Build positive, professional relationships with clients and industry partners
- Improve internal processes, approach and tools within area of expertise
- Identify areas of risk, devise and follow through on resolution of issues
- Participate in business development initiatives when required such as project pitches
- University graduate in Interior Design or other relevant discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience ideally with exposure to current global trends
- Demonstrated success in managing a team and delivering workplace projects
- Successfully led design projects as a trusted advisor to clients
- Ability to present ideas and concepts successfully to multiple stakeholders
- Confidence in your ability to manage client and consultant expectations
- Active membership in relevant industry associations
- AutoCAD skills are essential;
Photoshop, In-Design, Revit & Sketchup skills are beneficial - Strong communication, interpersonal and team skills
