:
What will you work on?As Senior Manager, Trade Spend Deductions, you will be responsible for
leading the team of analysts and overseeing all activity in the department for trade spend and deductions management as well as all price changes and billings. You will collaborate closely with
cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives, compliance with regulatory requirements and be a hands-on support for business partners in other departments/regions.
A subject matter expert in the trade spend and deductions management field, this role will also lead and support
process improvement in all areas of the order to cash processes.
How will you create impact?Manage the end-to-end process of trade spend deductions, including the review, validation, and resolution of customer deductions related to promotional activities, discounts, and rebatesCollaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer concerns and resolve payment disputes in a timely mannerProvide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the trade spend management team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement – including setting performance expectations, conducting reviews, and providing development opportunitiesDevelop and maintain reporting dashboards and KPIs to track performance, aging receivables, and bad debt reservesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation including automation, system enhancements and best practicesBuild a robust control environment ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and supporting audits thereofWhat are your skills and experience?Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or a related field, advanced degree/certifications preferredA/R and deductions resolution/management experience in a CPG environmentExperience in a public company environment, in a leadership roleProficient in MS Office programs, especially excel, SAP and SalesforceDetail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvementAbility to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
