What will you work on?

As Senior Manager, Trade Spend Deductions, you will be responsible for leading the team of analysts and overseeing all activity in the department for trade spend and deductions management as well as all price changes and billings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives, compliance with regulatory requirements and be a hands-on support for business partners in other departments/regions.

A subject matter expert in the trade spend and deductions management field, this role will also lead and support process improvement in all areas of the order to cash processes.

How will you create impact?
  • Manage the end-to-end process of trade spend deductions, including the review, validation, and resolution of customer deductions related to promotional activities, discounts, and rebates
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer concerns and resolve payment disputes in a timely manner
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the trade spend management team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement – including setting performance expectations, conducting reviews, and providing development opportunities
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and KPIs to track performance, aging receivables, and bad debt reserves
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation including automation, system enhancements and best practices
  • Build a robust control environment ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and supporting audits thereof
  • What are your skills and experience?
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or a related field, advanced degree/certifications preferred
  • A/R and deductions resolution/management experience in a CPG environment
  • Experience in a public company environment, in a leadership role
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, especially excel, SAP and Salesforce
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
