What you will be doing:

As the Bilingual Manager, Mortgage Sales & Relationship Management
, you will report to the Senior Manager, Mortgage Sales & Relationship Management. You will lead a national team of Mortgage Solutions Managers (MSMs) and Mortgage Relationship Advisors (MRAs), driving performance across both new business acquisition and relationship management.

This role is pivotal in transforming our sales culture, accelerating growth, and enhancing sales effectiveness. With ambition targets, the successful candidate will be a strategic leader who inspires high performance, fosters accountability, and delivers exceptional client experiences.

Is this role right for you?
In this role, you will:

  • Oversee and lead a team of mortgage sales advisors responsible for providing advice along the home buying journey for our clients. Advisors are accountable for providing advice and recommending solutions to clients which will include guiding documents as well as overseeing the management of client portfolios. Portfolios will include renewing mortgages at-maturity as well as refinancing existing mortgages and HELOCs.
  • Drive national sales initiatives to achieve growth targets and enhance profitability
  • Leverage market insights and client feedback to evolve product offerings and go-to-market strategies

Sales Management &

Coaching:

  • Lead and coach a team of Mortgage Solution Managers and/or Mortgage Relationship Advisors
  • Instill disciplined sales management practices, including pipeline reviews, performance tracking, and skill development
  • Accountable for leading direct reports to meet all business objectives including sales, quality metrics and client satisfaction to provide outstanding client experiences.
  • Responsible for managing client escalations related to mortgage products & processes
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews to drive accountability & results
  • Lead secured lending portfolio growth strategy, focusing on growth, retention, pricing, and client segmentation.
  • Develop and execute tactics to maximize franchise value and profitability
  • Operational Effectiveness:
    Risk, compliance, operational process

Client Experience & Relationship Management

  • Champion a client-first culture, ensuring seamless and personalized mortgage experiences
  • Strengthen referral partnerships and deepen client relationships to maximize lifetime value

Operational Excellence &

Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to Tangerine’s Code of Conduct, AML/ATF, privacy, and compliance standards
  • Monitor operational effectiveness and implement process improvements to support scalable growth
  • Keep abreast of all Lending Credit Policies, Guidelines and Procedures

Leadership & Culture Transformation:

  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture focused on growth, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Lead change initiatives that energize the team and align with Tangerine’s strategic priorities
  • Assist in departmental projects & the development of the mortgage portfolio of the bank
