Full Time, Immediate hire. Salary: $100,000-$115,0000 + Net Profit Bonus.
The Collision Centre General Manager oversees daily operations of an auto body repair facility, ensuring efficient service delivery, quality control, timely and budget-compliant repairs, customer satisfaction, safety compliance, inventory management, and strong relationships with insurance companies and suppliers.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily shop operations, scheduling, workflow management, and inventory control, ensuring monthly targets are met.
- Complete bi-weekly payroll for hourly, salary, and flat rate employees and submit for processing.
- Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.
- Collaborate with upper management to develop strategies for improving shop efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure all repairs and services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Maintain equipment and tools, managing repairs or replacements as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
- Adhere to all insurance program guidelines and procedures.
- Attend training, information sessions, and workshops recommended by Senior Leadership.
- Partner with the management team to ensure compliance with all provincial and national regulatory standards.
- Schedule and arrange OEM training for Estimator and Repair Technicians.
- 5+ years experience in automobile repair, preferably in a management role.
- Experience with collision repairs and familiar with the repair process.
- Exceptional computer skills – Microsoft Word, Outlook, Audatex, Mitchell Connect.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong leadership skills and negotiation/conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skill.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license.
