Maintenance Mechanic

Looking for Maintenance Mechanic in North York

Shift: We are looking for all shifts: day, afternoon, night

Schedule:

Day and Afternoon shifts – Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat;
Night shift – Sun-Thurs

• Perform system maintenance as per priority sequence or conduct emergency repairs when required. Record work performed on a work order.
• Maintain good housekeeping (5S) by ensuring that workshop and work areas are kept clean and organized, all tools and parts are cleaned up after performing a job.
• Document completed Maintenance Work Orders to be submitted to Maintenance Manager/supervisor.
• Deficiencies observed during maintenance repairs and operation are to be documented and submitted to Maintenance Manager/supervisor.
• Ensure that PMI’s are being completed monthly and submitted to Maintenance Manager/supervisor.
• Responsible for maintaining optimal performance on all equipment.
• Prepare the operating system after all shifts for prompt and effective start-ups.
• Ensure all maintenance jobs are performed with proper and safe tools.
• Detailed monthly inspections of operating machinery for preventative maintenance purposes.
• Communicate any issues during shift change to the next shift lead/supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

At least 5 years of experience working as a maintenance mechanic.
