Harbinger Network Inc. has partnered with a well-established manufacturing facility seeking an experienced
Tool & Die Maker
to join its New Die Build area, as well as someone to join their Die Maintenance area. This position focuses on new die builds, machining, troubleshooting, and supporting tryouts. The ideal candidate is reliable, accountable, and confident working independently on full die construction from start to finish. Individuals that have worked on building dies from blueprints to finished in press trials are highly desired.
- Layout, machine, and assemble die components for complete tool and die manufacturing
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and measurements
- Operate overhead cranes and material-handling equipment safely
- Diagnose and troubleshoot tooling issues during tryouts
- Maintain 5S standards and follow all safety protocols
- Support and mentor apprentices
- Collaborate with supervisors and project teams to meet timelines
- 5+ years
Tool & Die experience as a
licensed 430A Toolmaker - Ability to build dies from scratch (this is not finishing work on dies sent from overseas)
- Strong machining, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Reliable, teachable, accountable, and team-oriented
- Ability to commute to Cambridge and travel occasionally to customer sites for Die Trials
- Day shift:7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 5-day work week
- Limited required overtime (after 40 hours/week)
- Weekly pay:$38–$43/hour
depending on experience - Extended health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance

Candidates with strong welding and in press-diagnostic skills may also be considered for a
Die Maintenance
position, which may require flexibility for day or afternoon shifts.
