About the job Trunk Sewer Inspection Team Member
We are currently seeking applicants for a Trunk Sewer Inspection Team Member position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application, if you are interested.
The successful candidate will be involved in the following tasks:- Safely operate vehicles with a GVWR >4,500kg in accordance with CVOR, MTO and other provincial requirements.
- Ability to complete NASSCO pipeline inspections.
- Plan, set up, manage and remove traffic control equipment in accordance with OTM Book 7.
- Perform daily inventory, inspection and cleaning of CCTV equipment, reels, wheel sets, camera heads, tools and safety gear to ensure quality assurance.
- Read project sheets and perform project safety site inspections.
- Perform Confined Space Entry to assemble inspection equipment in live sewer conditions, in manholes and chambers that are in excess of 20m.
- Read, interpret and augment maps with notes.
- Complete field level hazard assessments at each site.
- Travel to other cities/areas, work in a variety of settings and worksite conditions.
- Work evenings, early mornings, weekends or out-of-town on occasion as required
- Operate a computer.
- Other duties as required.
- Clean drivers abstract, DZ License a benefit
- 3-5 years of Confined Space Entry experience
- 3-5 years of Working at Heights Experience
- Able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Able to perform in stressful environments
- Previous First-aid or advanced medical training an asset.
Training will be provided by A.E. to the successful candidate.
Benefits & Compensation- Competitive Hourly Rate starting at $28 per hour but will be based on experience Variable Schedule of 37.5-60hrs per week
- Overtime pay after 44 hours
