Client Supply Chain Analyst / Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
As a Client Supply Chain Analyst / Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), you will play a key role in maximizing supply chain efficiency and improving our commercial performance as well as our partnerships with major Canadian retailers.
The Client Supply Chain Analyst / VMI will be responsible for analyzing daily inventory movements and point‑of‑sale data to achieve in‑store availability targets, inventory coverage, and optimized stock levels—both at retail and in
distribution centers—while preventing risks related to aging inventory.
What you will accomplish on a daily basis
- Ensure achievement of in‑storeavailability targets, inventory coverage, and warehouse stock management while preventing the accumulation of expired inventory
- Develop and implement customer strategies to optimize costs, manage inventory, eliminate stockouts, and exceed customer expectations
- Optimize planning and forecasting for promotional orders
- Identify and resolve potential issues related to promotion execution
- Produce and present weekly and monthly reports for customers
- Maintain stock replenishment levels and customer inventory models based on approved calendars and established targets
- Monitor and analyze stock usage, product availability, pricing, and lead times to develop VMI inventory management models
- Understand VMI parameters, calculations, and data flows to accurately generate replenishment orders
- Develop reports to track key indicators and identify trends or issues that may affect service levels and waste management
What you need to join our team
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and SAP
- Knowledge of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) systems
- Supply chain experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
- Knowledge of the Canadian retail distribution market
- Bilingualism / ability to work with internal and external stakeholders in English (French and English)
