Inside Sales Rep

Summary

This is an opportunity in the sales group to manage titanium supply for significant contracts. Communicate with customers, sub-contractors, account managers, Q.A., inventory/production planners, and mill operations. Strong interpersonal skills, computer proficiency, attention to detail, and strong math skills are required. Located in Toronto, Ohio.

• Manage customer demand:
  • Convert customer supplied forecast into a usable Excel format (pivot tables, graphs).
  • Analyze data, identify and scrutinize significant variances.
  • Rectify variance concerns with customer & applicable TIMET team members.
  • Convert forecasted demand into SAP scheduling contracts.
  • Review SAP inventory & replenishment scenarios to assure support of customer demand.
  • Problem solve & expedite mill replenishment to address potential shortfalls.
  • Act as primary liaison between customer & TIMET team members… i.e. Sales, Q.A. Inventory & Production.
• Planning:
  • Scrutinize & reconcile customers supplier scorecard.
  • Coordination / order management for participating sub-contractors.
  • Expedient processing of customer purchase orders / releases.
  • Expedite critical customer orders & mill replenishment.
  • Initiate customer offers for deviated material.
  • Understanding of how the customer’s quality requirements relate to TIMET’s capabilities.
  • Face to face customer contact to ensure details of contract are fulfilled.

Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred. Having equivalent years of experience will be considered.

Prior experience in supply chain management, preferably in a metals manufacturing environment.

Experience with administration and/or management of contracts which incorporates forecasting and performance metric analysis.

Experience in managing projects that address schedule, resource planning, identification & problem resolution while maintaining a hands-on approach.

APICS Certification.

Strong Microsoft Excel Skills Are Required.

SAP experience.
