Levitt LLP is seeking an experienced Employment and Labour Lawyer with 4–12 years of call to join our dynamic and growing practice.

This role is suited to a senior associate or counsel-level lawyer who is looking to further develop a practice within a highly active employment and labour group. You will manage sophisticated employer and employee matters, collaborate closely with senior leadership on complex litigation, and provide strategic advice to national and international clients
. The position also offers opportunities for media engagement, public commentary, and thought leadership in the employment and labour space.

• Primary carriage of both employer and employee employment and labour files
• Strategic handling of complex and high-stakes litigation matters
• Regular court appearances, mediations, and examinations
• Direct client management and business development
• Mentorship and supervision of junior lawyers, where appropriate
• Collaboration with senior counsel on precedent-setting and strategic matters
• Participation in media, speaking engagements, and legal commentary

• 4–12 years of call with a focus on employment and labour law
• Significant experience bringing and arguing motions
• Strong courtroom, mediation, and examination experience
• Excellent advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills
• Strong client-service orientation and relationship-management skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex files and deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
