Our client, an established company located north of the downtown core of Toronto, seeks a Junior Lawyer to join its team. This is a full time permanent role.

This client will consider non licensed lawyers with Ontario real estate, leasing or corporate experience.

• In this in-house role you will be involved in a wide variety of duties and areas of law including real estate, development, leasing, employment and corporate.
• You will have the opportunity to be involved in the day to day legal affairs of the company.
• Draft, Review, Negotiate Agreements of Purchase and Sale
• Co-ordinate Due Diligence
• Maintain and oversee obligations of agreement
• Review commitment letters and financing agreements and prepare all necessary documentation
• Incorporation of companies, limited partnerships, maintenance of entities
• Handle matters such as sale or purchase of share interests, restructure/rollover of corporate entities
• General aid in condominium matters related to approval of development registration
• Draft/Review/negotiate commercial leases with various tenants
• Prepare matters for litigation in connection with leasing matters
• Create templates and handle negotiation for various construction contracts for trades, suppliers and neighbours to development.
