Law Clerk - Accident Benefits

Permanent Hybrid work arrangement - 3 days remote
A well established Insurance Defence law firm located in the core of downtown Toronto, steps from Union Station, is in need of an Insurance Defence AB Clerk to join its team.
This role requires 5+ years of Defence AB experience. Some Tort experience is required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Experience preparing for Arbitrations, Case Conferences, summarizing medicals, file summaries, and running files from beginning to end.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent organizational, drafting and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of Statutory Accident Benefit schedule and LAT
- Working knowledge of the Rules of Civil procedure
