Overview
Senior Corporate Law Clerk
Our multi-service law firm based in the heart of Downtown Toronto is seeking a highly experienced Senior Corporate Law Clerk who takes pride in their work and values excellent client service to join our Corporate Services Group.
In this role you will be involved in a variety of corporate matters, including:
- Corporate services work such as in corporations, amalgamations, continuances, annual returns, and business name registrations
- Corporate transactional matters including financings, share purchases, rollovers, and closings
- Coordinating with lawyers/clerks in our other offices on multi-jurisdictional transactions and providing Ontario support
- Managing multiple lawyers and their practices
- Minimum of 5 years of Corporate Law experience at a top-tier law firm
- A combination of private practice experience and relevant in-house corporate experience may be considered
- Very professional with the ability to interact and effectively communicate with individuals at all levels
- Experience working in a corporate database is a huge asset
- Extensive knowledge of OBCA, CBCA, CIA, LP Act
