Bilingual Expert | English and Russian

Role Overview

Mercor is seeking bilingual English–Russian language professionals to participate in a translation evaluation project with a leading AI research organization. Experts will review AI-generated Russian content to ensure it reflects fluent, accurate, and culturally appropriate language as used in Russia. This project‑based opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented linguists looking to contribute to cutting‑edge AI development.

• Review and evaluate Russian translations for fluency, clarity, and accuracy
• Flag mistranslations and unnatural or awkward phrasing
• Suggest improvements to align with natural usage in Russia
• Provide structured feedback on tone, regional phrasing, and linguistic quality
• Maintain high reading speed and attention to detail

• Native or near-native fluency in both Russian and English
• Strong familiarity with Russian language usage in Russia
• 1+ year of experience in translation, editing, or language quality assurance
• Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills
• High attention to linguistic and cultural nuance

• Remote and asynchronous – set your own hours
• Expected commitment: 10+ hours/week
• Project duration: 1+ months, with potential for follow‑on work

• $15–25/hour depending on experience and geography
• Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
