Job Description & How to Apply Below

Fairgrounds is a public racket club built on one idea: play belongs to everyone. No membership committees. No dress codes. No gatekeeping. Just courts, community, and the belief that sport should be approachable, not exclusive. We're here to make you sweat, laugh, and meet some people along the way. Whether you're working on your backhand or attempting that ridiculous drop shot for the fifth time, you belong here.

The world's too serious. Come play.

The Opportunity

Fairgrounds is hiring a Performance Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our paid acquisition engine and scale our digital growth systems end-to-end. Paid media is currently our largest growth lever, driving bookings, event participation, and membership acquisition. We are investing meaningfully each month across Meta, Google, and emerging channels, and we believe there is significant room to scale intelligently.

This is a high-impact role focused on customer acquisition, creative development at scale, and optimizing our growth levers across paid channels. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, deep experience in performance marketing, and a keen eye for creative strategy and execution. They are highly data-driven and comfortable working cross-functionally with creative teams, lifecycle marketing, product, and external partners to maximize efficiency and drive customer growth.

This role is for someone who wants to:

  • Translate business goals into acquisition strategy

2. Execution Excellence & Operational Ownership
  • Drive campaign setup, optimization, and scaling decisions
  • Develop structured testing roadmaps (creative, audience, briefs for landing pages, offer)
  • Build repeatable systems for experimentation
  • Improve CAC efficiency and booking conversion rates
3. Creative Performance Strategy
  • Partner with design and content teams on ad ideation across formats and platforms
  • Define creative briefs rooted in performance insights
  • Analyze outlier ads and codify learnings
  • Establish a structured creative testing cadence
  • Write and review creative briefs
4. Landing Page & Conversion Optimization
  • Design and run experiments to improve conversion rates across landing pages and web funnels
  • Leverage tools like Hot Jar, GA4, and Webflow Optimize to surface friction and test improvements
  • Collaborate with product and design to iterate on post-click experience
  • Own the connection between ad performance and on-site conversion
5. Lifecycle & Retention Partnership
  • Partner closely with our CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Manager to align acquisition and retention strategy
  • Identify handoff points between paid acquisition and CRM/email/SMS flows
  • Analyze user acquisition and retention cohorts to surface insights and inform growth roadmaps
  • Work cross-functionally to improve onboarding conversion and early LTV signals
6. Analytics, Attribution & Reporting
  • Own tracking accuracy (pixel, CAPI, GA4, CRM integration) and attribution systems (Triple Whale)
  • Build dashboards tying spend to revenue, CAC, and LTV
  • Improve visibility into true incremental performance
  • Deliver weekly performance narratives and forward-looking plans
  • Collaborate with analytics and finance to forecast performance and report on marketing ROI
7. Infrastructure & Capability Building
  • Develop scalable internal systems for campaign management
