The Program Manager will lead large-scale technology initiatives within the P&T Delivery Practice, supporting enterprise programs that build critical capabilities, systems, and operational processes across the organization. This role is responsible for managing multiple complex programs simultaneously while ensuring delivery aligns with enterprise strategies and governance frameworks. The successful candidate will collaborate with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver high-risk programs while managing cost, scope, and timeline objectives.
The role requires strong leadership, program governance expertise, and experience working within large banking environments.
- Plan, manage, and deliver distinct programs with high levels of risk exposure across all phases of program delivery.
- Indirectly manage program teams consisting of Business Analysts, Business SMEs, Project Managers, and technology resources using PDLC, Agile, or hybrid frameworks.
- Engage Executive Sponsors, senior leadership, and stakeholder groups to ensure efficient and compliant program delivery.
- Identify and manage program outcomes required for business objectives.
- Establish program governance structures and oversight protocols.
- Provide ongoing communication to key stakeholders including Program Sponsors, Business Program Owners, and Portfolio Managers regarding program status and major changes.
- Respond to inquiries and elevate concerns from stakeholders across technical, business, and executive leadership levels.
- Provide advice and guidance to program teams and business partners regarding best practices in program management.
- Coordinate with partners to ensure required resources are assigned for successful program delivery.
- Deliver program outcomes aligned with established cost, timing, deliverables, and scope objectives.
- Generate cost estimates and manage program financials while incorporating risk management strategies.
- Identify and track program risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Forecast and manage program budgets and provide monthly financial reporting aligned with finance standards.
- Support vendor management and strategic sourcing activities including RFP processes.
- Apply enterprise program management lifecycle methodologies, governance frameworks, and best practices while maintaining documentation, change management, and risk management processes.
- 10+ years of program management experience delivering large-scale technology initiatives.
- Experience leading teams of Project Managers and cross-functional program teams.
- Experience managing multiple complex technology projects simultaneously with large multi-million dollar budgets.
- Experience delivering programs in compliance with internal governance standards.
- Experience working within large banking or financial institutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while managing competing priorities.
- PMP and/or Scaled Agile certifications.
- Prior experience working with banking.
- Experience delivering regulatory programs.
