What is the opportunity?This is a unique opportunity to lead and scale RBC Insurance's social media presence. Own and evolve our B2B and B2C social media strategy, translating brand positioning and business priorities into clear annual and quarterly plans with defined success metrics. Leverage data-driven insights, creative thinking, and best-in-class technology to shape how we connect with our audience and drive discovery, relevance, and credibility across Linked In, You Tube, Meta, and others.

Influence senior stakeholders and establish scalable principles and playbooks that elevate quality and consistency across all social platforms.
What will you do?
  • Define and own our B2B social strategy with Linked In as our cornerstone platform for thought leadership and business engagement.
  • Set the standard for social-first storytelling that translates company strategy, product evolution, and industry perspectives into compelling, platform-native content that drives awareness, engagement, and business results.
  • Lead executive social presence and thought leadership
    , serving as a strategic advisor and ghostwriters for leaders while shaping employer brand storytelling and external community engagement.
  • Own social media management platforms including Yext/Hearsay. Establish platform governance, best practices, and clear roadmaps for content distribution, employee advocacy, and social selling programs.
  • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution from strategy and content creation to publishing and community management. Build a test-and-learn culture where experimentation is documented and used to improve outcomes.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Brand, Content, Communications, Product, Analytics, and Paid Media to amplify programs and maximize impact.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs beyond engagement including share of voice, narrative impact, sustained visibility, and business contribution. Own performance reporting and use insights to guide experimentation and optimization.
  • Oversee paid social media strategy and work with agency partners to ensure alignment with organic initiatives. Translate business objectives into effective paid campaigns, provide strategic direction, and evaluate agency performance to maximize ROI.
  • What do you need to succeed?
  • B2B social media management experience
    at scale (brand or agency), with proven track record building programs that drive discovery, engagement, and cultural relevance
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with Linked In, You Tube, Meta, and Tik Tok
    , with particular strength on Linked In for B2B engagement and thought leadership
  • Hands-on experience with Hootsuite Amplify and Yext/Hearsay
    for social media management, employee advocacy, and social selling programs
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
    working with Brand, Content, Communications, Product, Analytics, and Paid Media teams
  • Experience with paid social media strategy and agency management
    , including setting strategic direction, providing briefs, evaluating performance, and optimizing budget allocation
  • Proven senior-level ownership and execution
    —able to drive work end to end with minimal oversight
  • Strong creative and editorial judgment with performance mindset
    , translating insights and trends into platform-native storytelling
  • Exceptional written communication skills
    , including social copy, strategic narratives, executive ghostwriting, and executive-ready documentation
  • Data-driven mindset
    with experience defining success beyond vanity metrics, analyzing performance, and reporting on ROI

    including AI-powered tools for planning, drafting, analysis, and optimization
