Insight Global is looking for a Director of Application Development for one of our large banking clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Lead and manage CIAM and authentication-focused application initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise security and digital banking strategies.
Serve as a senior point of contact for stakeholder relationship management, collaborating with security, architecture, risk, compliance, and business partners.
Provide hands‑on leadership to a team of 2–4 technical resources, offering guidance on design decisions, delivery execution, and best practices.
Drive secure implementation of SSO, OAuth, and related identity protocols across customer‑facing platforms.
Ensure applications meet banking‑grade security, scalability, and availability standards.
Identify and manage delivery risks, technical dependencies, and operational impacts.
Contribute to roadmap planning and continuous improvement within the authentication and identity domain.

Skills and Requirements
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in CIAM and security technologies, with proven experience delivering identity solutions at enterprise scale.
Deep hands‑on knowledge of security technologies, including:
Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM)
Single Sign-On (SSO)
OAuth (and related authentication/authorization standards)
Demonstrated experience leading application development teams in a regulated or large-scale enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of secure application design and identity-driven architectures.
Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders across technology and business teams.
Experience delivering authentication and security-focused initiatives.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
