Marketing Generalist 18: Salaries typically range from $96,557 to $128,743 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

• Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment, currently requiring employees to work in the office 2 days per week (subject to change).

Reporting into the Director, Web Experience, the Web Strategist will work in the Web Experience Team to drive strategic initiatives on our website. The role also collaborates closely with the Customer Experience team (CX) to ensure website initiatives align with enterprise-wide CX objectives.

The Web Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the transformation of  This role is accountable for bringing EDC’s digital experience vision and cross-channel customer experience strategy to life through strong strategic leadership, executional guidance, and continuous optimization.

• Develop website strategies and roadmaps aligned with EDC’s digital and customer experience vision, including long-term and interim states
• Partner with the CX COE to support the definition of target-state customer journeys and digital channel vision
• Work with business analysts, team members, and stakeholders to ensure strategies are execution-ready
• Conduct research, current-state analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify best practices
• Translate strategy into actionable objectives, defining success metrics and resource needs
  
  Develop data strategies to leverage insights and enable personalized digital experiences
• Collaborate with designers to create user flows aligned with target personas
• Support the development and execution of scalable personalization strategies
• Co‑develop content strategies including SEO, GEO, and AIO
• Support accessibility strategies spanning content, markup, and technology
• Participate in annual and quarterly planning with business, technology, and delivery partners

• Support execution of best‑practice web strategies across design, content, and development
• Provide guidance on requirements, design, development, and data collection
• Monitor web performance, user behavior, and industry trends to recommend continuous improvements
