Senior Product Designer (12-Month Contract)

Hybrid (Toronto – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join a dynamic team at a leading financial services organization. If you love designing impactful digital products and want to work in a startup-like environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.

You’ll be the sole designer on the team, working closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to create a seamless and user-friendly digital payments platform for business clients. It’s a great opportunity to lead the design from start to finish and make a real impact on the user experience.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Lead the design of complex digital products, including everything from user flows to prototypes.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and conduct usability testing to refine designs.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to bring your design ideas to life.
• Present your design recommendations and use data and feedback to influence decisions.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and help guide the team toward the best solutions.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 7-10 years of experience in product design, with a focus on interaction design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to design complex digital products (web and mobile).
• Experience running client research and usability testing to inform your design decisions.
• A collaborative mindset and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
• The confidence to lead design initiatives from strategy through to execution.
• Excellent communication skills – you’re comfortable presenting and influencing decisions.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience in financial services or digital payments platforms.
• Familiarity with design systems and how design translates into development.
• A background in content design or systems thinking.
