What is the opportunity?
This role will be responsible for the development, implementation, and support of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) solutions for applications supported by the Digital Branch SRE organization. The team will work collaboratively with the Delivery arm of the organization and other IT partners to achieve business and IT objectives. The incumbent will need intermediate knowledge and experience in application development or technology operations and will perform a production support role in partnership with the SRE Delivery team for incident and problem management.

What will you do?

Collaborate and build relationships with colleagues across Business and IT to achieve shared objectives.

Participate in code and non-functional reviews (performance, security, maintainability, compliance, change management) of all production-bound SRE solutions.

Manage vendor relationships, problem resolution, and maintenance of applications working closely with vendors.

Drive transformation by continuously automating existing processes.

Track audits, monitor, and implement technical work streams.

Act as portfolio SME—understand and document common components, core functionalities, and infrastructure of supported applications.

Support the integration of new releases, bug fixes, and technology currency changes to production, including post‑release verification.

Focus on continuous improvement and technical standards—drive improvements in productivity, monitoring, tooling, and best practices.

Manage application maintenance budgets and provide cost forecasts for new development initiatives.

What do you need to succeed?
Must have:

Minimum 7 years of experience in a technology leadership role with people management responsibilities.

Proven application support, maintenance, and delivery of enhancement/maintenance projects for critical applications.

Experience working with vendors both onshore and offshore.

Experience with diverse technologies, distributed systems, and workflows.

Capacity planning, sizing, and performance tuning skills.

Ability to identify and institute process improvements and apply application enhancements effectively.

Analytical approach to issue identification and resolution.

Capacity to understand the technical capabilities and limitations of existing and emerging enterprise architectures.
