Job SummaryResponsible for performance, availability, and security of business-critical SAP systems.Install, configure, administer, and support SAP landscapes in a private cloud (SAP RISE with IBM Cloud).Work closely with cross-functional IT teams and SAP RISE service providers to ensure high uptime and aligned technical solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem AdministrationDesign, install, configure, and administer SAP systems and databases in a private cloud (SAP RISE on IBM Cloud).Manage and support SAP environments: SAP S/HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP PO/PI, SAP BTP Disclosure Management (DM), SAP Business Objects (BOBJ/AFO) GRC, MDG, BPCAdminister transport management, SAP Basis standard jobs, print management, and batch job scheduling (Opswise).Apply deep knowledge of computer networks, firewall ports, and secure connectivity.Perform system integrations, migrations, system refreshes, and client copies.Implement and manage SAP Router, SSO configurations, and secure workstation-to-SAP connectivity.Configure cloud-to-cloud and non-SAP integrations (, Esker, ZipHQ, Concur).Perform upgrade impact analysis and execute upgrades for S/HANA, BOBJ/AFO, DM, and PO/PI.Apply SAP core patches and security patches; remediate SAP-released vulnerabilities.Manage certificate renewals and ensure security compliance.Collaborate with SAP RISE teams for high availability and disaster recovery readiness.Monitor and optimize SAP, HANA, OS performance, including memory management.Troubleshoot complex issues: lockouts, work process failures, job terminations, and network/application performance.Conduct performance analysis and tuning across all SAP systems.Administer SAP Solution Manager, including ChaRM and CTS+.Maintain accurate technical documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.Liaise with IT teams to resolve cross-platform issues.Manage projects and ensure timely delivery of milestones.QualificationsTechnical ExpertiseHands-on experience as SAP Basis Administrator in a private cloud S/HANA environment.Strong knowledge of SAP technologies: S/HANA, Fiori, PO/PI, BTP, DM BOBJ/AFO, GRC, MDG, BPCExperience working with SAP RISE operations and managed service providers.Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration, including:
Opswise agent installation Print servers and central file serversDatabase administration experience (SAP HANA preferred).Familiarity with SLD administration and technical object archiving.Skills & AbilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across application, database, and network layers.Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred CertificationSAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP S/HANA System Administration
