Senior Manager, Analytics & Experimentation
** What You'll Do at Mistplay:*
* • Set team or department goals and align them with company strategy.
• Use stakeholder priorities and roadmap as input to planning and devise clear key results.
• Mentor and coach direct reports while actively sharing feedback and managing their performance and growth.
• Lead end-to-end analytics projects, including deep dives into core product funnels, experiment design, and the development of decision models.
• Own the delivery of analytics outcomes and ensure the team strives to drive the business rather than operating as a support team.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to define and continuously align priorities with business stakeholders.
• Advocate for tools, resourcing, and process improvements.
• Represent the team or function in leadership forums.
• Foster an inclusive and growth-oriented team culture.
• Contribute to the development of an experimentation-driven culture by sharing learnings and recommendations from experiments with key stakeholders.
** What You'll Bring to Mistplay:*
* • 8+ years of experience in product analytics or data science, including 3-5 years of people management.
• Bachelor's degree required;
Master's or MBA in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Economics is preferred.
• Advanced expertise in analytics and experimentation, including A/B testing, multivariate testing, statistical analysis, and experiment design.
• Strong technical acumen in data modeling, SQL, and data pipeline management.
• Proficiency with BI platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI for dashboarding and data visualization.
• Deep foundational knowledge of core inferential statistics concepts such as significance, power, confidence intervals, and variance.
• Experience with experimentation platforms like Optimizely or Statsig.
• Skills in data analysis languages including Python.
• Familiarity with data warehouses such as Databricks.
• Pro-level ability to synthesize and communicate complex concepts and analyses in simple ways to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability in stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, and driving business outcomes with a solution-oriented mindset.
