Dev Ops Engineer – AWS CDK & Kubernetes

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Dev Ops strategy, roadmap, and implementation across applications and platforms.
• Architect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops.
• Drive implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CDK, Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible.
• Develop and maintain AWS CDK scripts for provisioning cloud infrastructure components, ensuring reusable, scalable, and secure patterns.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure design, automation, and operations on AWS.
• Lead containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and SRE teams to improve release processes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks using tools like Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, secrets management, and Dev Sec Ops  practices.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize system performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior Dev Ops and CDK engineers and drive continuous improvement across teams.

Required Qualifications

• 8–12 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in Dev Ops engineering.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, VPC, S3, EKS, RDS, Cloud Watch).
• Deep experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or Node.js.
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices deployment patterns.
• Familiarity with Git/Git Hub, branching strategies, and pull request workflows.
• Strong understanding of networking, security groups, IAM, encryption, and cloud best practices.
• Hands-on experience writing, troubleshooting, and deploying AWS CDK scripts for IaC automation.
• Experience in onshore/offshore delivery and leading multi-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and troubleshooting skills.
