Infrastructure Project Manager

Client: A top Canadian Bank

Terms: 6 months, with possibility to extend

Location: Hybrid - 1 day a week downtown

Pay Rate: $56-66/Hr T4

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for the migration of Informatica infrastructure to the cloud.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration strategies, goals, and objectives.
• Possess deep knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
• Lead end-to-end Azure migration projects, ensuring seamless transition and optimization.
• Provide guidance on best practices for migrating and optimizing workloads in a cloud environment.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units.
• Engage with senior management to provide project updates, identify risks, and elevate issues as needed.
• Negotiate and work with various stakeholders, from technical partners to the executive suite.
• Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to ensure a smooth migration process.
• Work closely with technical teams to address challenges and ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively address challenges that may arise during the migration process.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the integrity of data and applications post-migration.
• Conduct thorough testing to validate the functionality and performance of the migrated systems.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Generate regular progress reports for stakeholders and management.
• Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and trends.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud migration processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in cloud (Azure) or infrastructure.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Service Now.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
