Job Description
Job Title: Senior People Soft Administrator
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior People Soft Administrator to design, implement, and support People Soft architecture and environments
. The role requires strong expertise in People Tools 8.5x
, PUM upgrades
, Oracle database administration
, system integrations, and OS-level support. The candidate will work closely with application, infrastructure, and business teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and provide People Soft architectural solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

  • Perform People Tools 8.5x upgrades and People Soft Update Manager (PUM) implementations.

  • Apply People Soft maintenance packs, patches, and application tools upgrades using Update/Change Assistant
    .

  • Set up, configure, and maintain People Soft application environments and Oracle databases following best practices.

  • Manage and support People Soft inbound and outbound integrations
    .

  • Execute and support People Soft migration activities across environments.

  • Work extensively with People Tools components
    :
    Application Designer, Integration Broker, Security, Tree Manager, PS Query, Data Mover, Import Manager, Upgrade and Change Assistant.

  • Perform Oracle database administration and configure operating systems to support People Soft Oracle databases.

  • Administer Windows, Linux, and AIX servers supporting People Soft environments.

  • Resolve application-related vulnerability findings and security issues.

  • Support OS and DB patching activities
    , including SFTP connectivity and application-specific tasks.

  • Assist application teams with infrastructure planning and requirements

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

  • 8–10 years of experience as a People Soft Administrator / Technical Consultant
    .

  • Strong expertise in People Tools 8.5x and People Soft Update Manager (PUM).

  • Proven hands-on experience with People Soft upgrades, migrations, and maintenance
    .

  • Extensive experience with Oracle Database Administration for People Soft.

  • Strong knowledge of People Soft integrations (Inbound & Outbound).

  • Experience with
    Windows, Linux, and AIX server administration.

  • Strong understanding of security, vulnerability remediation, and compliance
    .

Desirable / Nice-to-Have

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Flexibility to support non-standard working hours when required.

  • Experience participating in project planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups
    .

  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Service Now
    .

  • Ability to work closely with business users, managers, project teams, and SMEs in a collaborative manner.

• Work with project teams throughout the organization to design, implement, and manage CDN infrastructure using Akamai, to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability for customer facing applications and business processes.
• Handle multiple priorities and assignments with excellence and precision.
• Be a part of a 24/7/365 organization (some after hours support is expected as part of normal on-call rotation).
• Directly support line of business development teams, provide guidance to them on implementation and changes for customer facing applications
• Develop and maintain security protocols and measures to protect CDN infrastructure from cyber threats.
• Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and resolving issues to optimize content delivery of critical applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Akamai CDN solutions with existing systems and applications.
• Collaborate with information security teams to implement DDoS protection strategies and other security measures in the CDN.
