Role Description

Release Manager

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing release lifecycles across multiple teams and environments, ensuring smooth, low-risk deployments in cloud-based SaaS/PaaS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute end-to-end release lifecycles across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

• Act as the gatekeeper for technical changes by chairing the Change Advisory Board (CAB), assessing, approving, and prioritizing changes to minimize risk to cloud services.

• Coordinate Go-Live activities and manage deployment automation using CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure application integrity, stability, and quality during releases, particularly in Cloud SaaS/PaaS environments.

• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to release scope, quality, and timelines.

• Serve as the primary point of coordination between development, QA, operations, and business stakeholders.

• Provide regular release status updates, risk reports, and post-release summaries to stakeholders.

Essential Skills

• Strong experience in Release Management across multi-environment setups (Dev, Test, Stage, Prod).

• Hands-on experience with Change Control processes and leading Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.

• Expertise in coordinating cloud deployments and Go-Live activities using CI/CD automation.

• Proven ability to manage and mitigate risks impacting release quality and delivery timelines.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills across technical and business teams.
