About the opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect Sr with a strong software engineering background to lead the design, development, and optimization of cloud-native applications. This role will be instrumental in shaping our cloud strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure, microservices architecture, Dev Ops practices, and modern software development methodologies.

What

you’ll get to do
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native software architectures.
  • Define cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best practices for software development teams.
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of cloud services, tools, and frameworks to support software initiatives.
Software Engineering Leadership
  • Collaborate with Infra and Engineering teams to guide cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Provide architectural oversight for microservices, APIs, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless functions.
  • Ensure alignment between software architecture and cloud infrastructure strategies.
Cloud Strategy & Governance
  • Develop and maintain cloud governance models, including cost optimization, compliance, and security.
  • Drive cloud adoption strategies and migration plans for legacy applications.
  • Partner with Cyber Security to implement secure software development lifecycle.
Dev Ops & Automation
  • Architect automated deployment pipelines and monitoring solutions.
  • Implement observability frameworks (logging, tracing, metrics) for cloud-native applications.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a technical advisor to leadership, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with cloud capabilities.
Skills and experience we value
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering or cloud architecture.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience architecting cloud-native applications.
  • 3+ years of experience with container orchestration and Dev Ops practices.
  • 3+ years in designing and developing APIs that integrate with enterprise software platforms to enable robust self‑service capabilities for end users.
  • Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS or Azure).
  • Deep knowledge of managed file transfer platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in software development using languages such as C#, Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑native databases, messaging systems, and caching solutions.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Git Lab CI, etc.) and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Cloud Formation).
  • SQL.
  • Automation solutions.

  • Experience with hybrid cloud or multi‑cloud environments.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
