- We are seeking an Expert-level Digital Product Designer – Design Researcher to support Commercial Banking initiatives focused on receivables tools and Liquidity Management solutions.
- This role will play a critical part in a multi-year transformation of commercial banking digital services, ensuring product strategy and design decisions align closely with user goals and business needs.
- The Design Researcher will be embedded within product squads, working closely with product designers, content designers, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- This position requires a strategic thinker who can also execute hands‑on research, translate data into actionable insights, and influence both executive and product‑level decisions.
- Conduct generative, strategic, and evaluative research to inform product and business strategy.
- Identify proactive research opportunities to guide product trajectory and design decisions.
- Plan and execute mixed‑method research (qualitative and evaluative), including interviews and workshops.
- Facilitate in‑person and remote workshops to gather insights and align stakeholders.
- Translate complex data into meaningful insights and compelling narratives for executive and product audiences.
- Support concept testing, prototype validation, and user testing initiatives.
- Collaborate within embedded product squads to validate designs for receivables and liquidity management initiatives.
- Manage multiple research initiatives while prioritizing effectively and communicating trade‑offs.
- Navigate complex systems, workflows, and stakeholder environments.
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships across product, design, technology, operations, and business teams.
- Contribute to strategic direction while executing tactical research activities.
- 7–10+ years of Design Research experience (Expert level).
- Strong experience conducting generative and evaluative qualitative research in remote and in‑person settings.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into insights and present findings to executive and product teams.
- Proven stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with B2B research environments.
- Strong storytelling, presentation, and report‑writing skills.
- Proficiency in workshop facilitation (remote and in‑person).
- Ability to work within complex systems and regulated industries.
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Service Design background.
- Experience working in regulated industries (Finance, Commercial Banking, Healthcare, etc.).
- Experience partnering with quantitative research teams.
- Quantitative and behavioral data analysis experience.
- Experience working in large, cross‑functional agile environments.
- Familiarity with Confluence, Mural, and MS Office tools.
