the Role

Auxly Cannabis Group Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Cloud Systems Administrator and End User Support Specialist to join our growing Technology team in our Toronto office. Reporting to the Senior IT Infrastructure Manager, the ideal candidate aspires to work in the growing cannabis field with an award‑winning team! The successful applicant will be responsible for providing various levels of technology support for Auxly and its subsidiaries.

What

you can expect to do
  • Lead small technology projects in collaboration with the IT team.
  • Provide in‑person and remote frontline IT support.
  • Deploy, configure, and support laptops and end‑user hardware.
  • Manage user onboarding, offboarding, and access administration.
  • Oversee printing services, including maintenance and supplies.
  • Maintain a small on‑prem datacenter (switches, servers, CCTV, etc.).
  • Administer Microsoft 365, including user setup and security controls.
  • Monitor and maintain on‑prem and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS), backups, and perform after‑hours patching.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives, including endpoint hardening and incident response activities.
  • Research, recommend, and implement new technologies to improve performance, security, and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across systems and processes.
  • Be willing to travel occasionally within Canada.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
About You
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a related field—or equivalent hands‑on experience.
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in system administration and end‑user support across Windows, macOS, Office 365, iOS, and Android environments.
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft 365 (Intune, Defender, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) and Active Directory services (DNS, DHCP, GPOs, permissions).
  • Working knowledge of server platforms, virtualization technologies, email security systems, and backup solutions.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including switching, routing, WAN/LAN, VLANs, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Enthusiasm for automation and proficiency with scripting languages such as Power Shell, Python, or SQL.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and triage incidents, escalating effectively when needed.
  • Collaborative mindset with a track record of contributing positively to team environments.
  • Continuous learner with a strong drive to adopt new technologies and improve systems.

High level of integrity and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information.
